Summary

This extension is developed by MoneyInvest.in to provide EMI calculation, amortization schedules, and prepayment planning. The extension stores user settings (loan amount, interest rate, tenure and prepayment entries) locally in the browser using Chrome's chrome.storage.local. The extension does not collect personal data or send it to our servers except for explicit affiliate click events (see below).

What we store locally

• Loan amount, interest rate, tenure and prepayment entries — stored in extension local storage for convenience.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) is stored by default.

Network calls & analytics

• When you click the "View Offers" button or any affiliate CTA, the extension opens the MoneyInvest.in offers page and sends a small tracking POST to https://moneyinvest.in/extension-click containing the clicked URL, timestamp, and the page that triggered the click (if available). This is used only for analytics and conversion attribution.
• The extension does not collect or transmit browsing history, form contents, or personal messages.

Permissions

• storage: to save your calculator inputs locally.
• scripting/activeTab: to run a small, on-demand helper that attempts to detect product prices on the page when you open the popup (this helps auto-fill the loan amount). This runs only on the active tab and does not persist or send page content to any server.
• clipboardWrite: to copy summary text when you use the copy button.

Third-party services

The extension may link to third-party lenders or affiliate partners. Any data you provide while using third-party sites is governed by their policies.
